Step by step

Method

5 steps

  1. 1

Slice the cabbage, onion, carrots, broccoli, and chicken before heating the pan. Stir the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, sriracha, and sugar in a small bowl so the sauce is ready.

  2. 2

Boil the ramen noodles for 2–3 minutes, just until tender. Drain them, toss with the sesame oil if using, and set them aside.

  3. 3

Heat the vegetable oil in a wide skillet over medium-high. Cook the ginger for 30 seconds, then add the chicken and stir-fry about 5 minutes, until no pink remains and the thickest piece reaches 165°F.

  4. 4

Add the onion, carrots, broccoli, and cabbage. Stir-fry for 5–8 minutes, until the vegetables soften but the broccoli still has a little bite.

  5. 5

Pour in the sauce, add the noodles, and toss for 2–3 minutes. Everything should be hot, glossy, and coated without the noodles breaking apart.
