    Cut the chicken into strips and pat them dry. Season with lemon pepper, then sear in olive oil over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side. Move it to a plate.

    Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook the spaghetti until just tender, saving about ½ cup of the pasta water before draining.

    Pour the wine into the chicken skillet and scrape the browned bits loose. Simmer 3–4 minutes, until the wine is reduced by about half.

    Melt in the butter, add the garlic for 1 minute, then stir in the flour and cook 2 minutes. Whisk in the broth and half-and-half in small splashes.

    Simmer the sauce while the pasta finishes, then lower the heat and stir in the Parmesan. Toss in the pasta, chicken, and lemon juice, loosening with pasta water if needed.
