    Season the chicken with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Lay it in the lightly greased slow cooker in one layer.

    In a bowl, stir together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, stuffing mix, and half of the broth. Stop mixing as soon as the crumbs are moistened.

    Spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken. Arrange the green beans beside or over it, then cover with the lid.

    Cook on high for about 4 hours or low for 6–7 hours, until the chicken reaches 165°F and the stuffing is tender. If the top looks dry, stir in the remaining broth and heat 10 minutes more.

    For a firmer, browned top, remove the lid for the last 30–40 minutes or transfer the stuffing to a baking dish and heat at 400°F for 10–15 minutes. Serve while hot.
