    Pat ribs dry. Mix brown sugar, paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and chili powder. Rub oil then spice mix all over the ribs. Rest 15 minutes (or fridge up to overnight).

    Preheat air fryer to 380°F. Arrange ribs in a single layer (cook in batches if needed). Air fry 18 minutes.

    Flip ribs, brush lightly with BBQ sauce, and cook 8–12 minutes more until an instant-read thermometer hits at least 190°F for tender, pull-apart meat (or 145°F if you prefer sliceable chops).
